CHARITEA

We make iced tea as it should be - from the best ingredients, organic and Fairtrade. Our whole leaf tea comes from cooperatives and plantations from all over the world. Green and black teas come from the Sri Lankan mountains; our rooibos grow under the hot South African sun. We pay higher prices for the ingredients, thus promoting fair and dignified agriculture. We go beyond Fairtrade: each bottle sold gives an additional 5 cents to the Lemonaid and ChariTea Foundation. As a result, we have already raised more than € 4 million for social projects in growing regions.

Each bottle of Lemonaid and ChariTea contains only organic ingredients and is Fairtrade certified. We pay higher prices for raw materials and thus support fair and dignified agriculture. With the Fairtrade premium, local farmers can afford to improve their own living conditions and implement community projects in their area. We do not rely only on international certificates and quality seals. We want to see for ourselves where the ingredients come from and the hidden stories behind them. Every year we travel to agricultural areas to get to know local farmers and their working conditions.

With each bottle purchased, Lemonaid aims to help people and communities help themselves. If we focus on parts of the world that are often disadvantaged in the global economy, we want to support local initiatives that seek to improve social, economic and environmental structures. That's why we support the Lemonaid & ChariTea Foundation with 5 cents / cent of each bottle purchased. Since January 2010, we have received more than € 4,000,000, which the foundation can now make good use of for various social projects in growing regions.
